So things have gotten tremendously better in the last few days. I think it was just taking us time to get to know her. Last night she slept for a six hour stretch! We ended up getting around eight hours last night which was awesome. Saturday night she didn’t do so well though and I was up with her most of the night. So sometimes it just depends. But she usually only cries when something is bothering her…we just have to figure out what that is! Still haven't graduated to the crib yet so we'll work on that here soon! We're just happy to be getting sleep!
Poor thing already has a diaper rash! That’s hard to believe for how often we change her diapers! We actually went to her pediatrician about it because she was only a week old and it was so red! It looks better today but is taking its’ time clearing up. She doesn’t cry as much when we change her diaper anymore but it still breaks my heart when she does. Because of that we have to wait until it clears up to use the cloth diapers, but I think she would fit them now as she is quite the eater!
She got her first home bath a few days ago (sponge bath because her umbilical cord stump is still attached) but she hated it! We took some pics and as you can see, she was very unhappy!
