Ashlan has her 9th tooth! She has 5 on top and 4 on bottom, and her 9th
is on the top, so they’re definitely coming in fast now! We’re expecting her 10th any day
now, as her gum is quite swollen, red, and puffy. We have definitely had teething symptoms with
this one but not what everyone calls regular teething symptoms, like
crankiness. No, our girl decides she has
to be different and include throwing up as her main teething symptom! Wonderful!
She has done this in the past, but we never really knew if she was sick
or not, and then teeth just magically appeared.
She wasn’t cranky, just would be stuffy and throw up, usually when she
is laying down for a nap. Today she took
a total of 45 min as a nap. One nap was
30 min, the other was 15. Both times she
was woken up by coughing just a little, not bad at all, but then she threw
up. Then she also did it another two
times today. Four times of cleaning up
throw up in one day is four too many in my book. Dan is ready to go back to work, haha! Poor thing though. She’s very playful and happy the rest of the
day; we still think she tolerates pain well.
She always bumps her head or falls, or scrapes her shins or does
something else to draw blood, and she barely makes a peep. We are always way more worried about her when
she does that then we need to be, because she just looks at us like, “What?”,
lol! Anyway, we didn’t even realize she
was getting her 9th tooth until we already felt it broken underneath
the skin. She’s a trooper though! Just wish she could avoid the throwing up as
a teething symptom!
She had just gotten out of the bumbo by herself. That's her new favorite chair. She actually uses it way more now than what it's supposed to be used for, haha!
Getting out of it herself.
Mommy was pooped that day- it was a double day at the gym...Ashlan was keeping me company. :)
And then giving me kisses. <3
First pool swim of the year! Pool was only 75 degrees but it was about 85 degrees outside. Pool is now about 78 degrees...already! This is super early for it to be this warm!
She did NOT want my help. Wanted to walk right off the step!
Still need to get her water wings and an inner tube. She'll throw a fit but then she'll be more independent...because she wanted nothing to do with that raft.
Mommy got delegated as the swimmer because Daddy has to avoid pools for awhile because of the operation. Normally, he'd be in this cold water and loving it! :)
She got a mouthful of water and her face was just priceless...this was me reacting to her.
She was talking into the car trunk here.
Loving her rocking horse that was mine when I was little!
Again, ignore the ensemble...I guess we have a lot of days like this where wash needs done, lol! Especially lately with all the throwing up she's been doing!
Playing in her box.
Popsicle with Daddy. She's getting good at biting off pieces now instead of sucking at it!
Kisses for mommy. <3
I was playing peekaboo with her and she was laughing. :)
