The Ashlan show: Happy 11 months!!

Things have been very busy lately! Between playdates, girls night out, and hanging out with friends, we have been keeping very busy! We put the tree up when Dan was home yesterday and are looking forward to Dan’s family visiting the week of Thanksgiving. Since we also celebrate Christmas with them too (because we only see them once during the holidays), I have been busy getting Christmas gifts and wrapping them.

Ashlan finally weaned herself about a week ago. She was only nursing one time a day anyways, in the mornings, so we figured we could cut that out too. She and I haven’t missed it, lol! I was pumping four times a day, and now I am down to three times. Eventually I’ll go down to two times and then none. I’d like to have her on whole milk completely by her birthday so I don’t have to bring the pump (and then pump) for when we go up to PA to celebrate her birthday, and we’re on track for that. She does not mind whole milk at all.

Walking is going great, though she still does crawl. She is starting to wear shoes now, which is taking her some getting used to. She only wears them when we’re out though because it’s better for their developing feet to not wear them at all, so it’s been interesting. For one pair, we spent as much on her shoes as we do on mine, and she won’t wear them too long! She’s in a size 5 sneaker and a size 4 dress shoe (like Mary Janes). They are adorable though and hopefully she’ll get used to them fast.

Sorry a lot of these photos are blurry! We have one fast little girl and mommy tries to capture the picture before the opportunity is gone (which goes fast, lol!).
