Yesterday when Dan had
off (it was around 78 degrees) , we went swimming at the heated pool at my
parents place in St. Augustine. We
wanted to go to the beach too since it’s just a few feet away from the pool, but
after a bit in the pool, Ashlan was ready for a nap. She had a good time in the pool “swimming”
with everyone though! We’ll have to go
back to the beach next time, because she had so much fun splashing in the ocean
a few days ago when we went (and uploaded videos). Of course, I forgot the camera that day! Luckily, we had our cell phones and managed
to catch a few pics and videos with our cell phone.
Dan wanted me to
mention that she started saying “pig” now.
When looking at a picture of a pig, she'll point to it and say "pig", although it comes out more like "piiig", lol! We also asked her today to go get her milk,
and she went to the fridge. We opened
the door, and she grabbed her milk (evident by the pics we took). It’s amazing what she understands now.
It’s great having my
parents so close for now and we are excited to see Dan’s family in a week. She has changed so much in the time that we’ve
seen them last!

She also likes to stand on the fridge like this whenever we open the door. :) And it was hot today! Like 80 degrees, which is why we have just a diaper on her.
