So Saturday, September 18 was our childbirth class from 9:30-5:30pm. It ended up getting out closer to 3:30 and since we had put Caesar in the kennel that weekend, we decided to spend the evening in St. Augustine. The class itself was informative, though I have read plenty about that information all during my pregnancy. I was glad Dan got to hear some of that information though because he hasn’t been able to read as much as I have. One thing we decided from that class though was that I need more help in the relaxation department regarding labor and delivery. So we signed up for a breathing and relaxation class which will be on October 5. I looked for a hypnobabies course but they don’t offer that in Jacksonville, which is disappointing because I thought that could help. I also looked into Lamaze and the Bradley Method classes but that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. So we went to the library and got a few books which I hope will help me. Dan has quite a job ahead of him trying to keep me calm!
The other classes we have are the breastfeeding class on Wednesday, September 29 and an infant/child CPR class on October 9, so we will be busy in the next few weeks.
Yesterday night the baby had the hiccups, which is such a weird feeling, and of course it was right as I was trying to fall asleep! Within a few minutes though they must have passed or I just fell asleep!
