Dr. appt and new picture

My last appointment was yesterday and from now on I will be having an appointment every two weeks (which is standard after 28 weeks, apparently). At this appointment, I had my one hour gestational diabetes test. Unfortunately, I did not pass it! The cutoff is 140 and I was a 147. So now I have an appointment on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:45 am for the three hour test. I really hope I pass this one since it would be no fun to have gestational diabetes for the rest of the pregnancy!

We’re also looking forward to starting our classes this month. Hospital orientation is next Wednesday, September 8. Then on Saturday, September 18, we have our childbirth class from 10-6pm. We wanted to split it up into the three days but that was impossible with Dan’s schedule. We also have a breastfeeding class on September 29 and an infant/child CPR class on October 9, so we are looking forward to all of those! It’s going to be a busy month!
