We left on Tues, Oct 18th at 6:45 pm and drove through the night, getting to Dan’s parents house at around 9am the next morning. Ashlan was an angel during this trip! She fell right to sleep when we put her in the car and only woke throughout the night when we would stop for gas, and she would fall asleep again right after we got on the highway. She woke up for the day around 5:30ish and we all stopped to eat and then I hopped in the back to entertain her for awhile. I ended up taking over driving around 7:30ish or so and she ended up falling back asleep until we got there around 9 am and Dan was able to nod off too.
Our visits with family were great! We had such a wonderful time seeing family and watching Ashlan play and interact with everyone. It went too fast, as always, but it is nice to be in our own beds and have some sort of routine again.
All these toys awaited her!!
